Now it's back to David Collins and Sam Singh sharing the five spot for BU with redshirt freshman Anthony Thompson thrust into the picture, ready or not.
The 6-10 Thompson, still dealing with strength issues despite an added 40 pounds since arriving on campus, has appeared on the court for a total of just three minutes this season.
'I like the progress Anthony is making,' Les said. 'He gets into the three-man rotation now so we'll expect him to play some minutes. So far, it's been more the other guys at his position were playing well. Sam has played well, DC started well in the exhibition season and Will had taken off here.'

And then Dave reports this--
The NCAA Clearinghouse is currently gathering the academic record of John Wilkins, the 6-9 orally committed Brave from Belgium who hopes to gain eligibility after first semester ends Dec. 17. Wilkins has received a qualifying score on his SAT college entrance test and posted solid high school grades, according to his father, Jeff Wilkins.

TW at the 5? I guess we could play everyone on the perimeter and open up lanes to drive to the rim. Could be a very interesting offense to watch

The problem with this type of set up is you are one shot and done for the most part. You better be hitting your outside shot because the D will sit their big in the blocks. The only way we can go small is we are hitting the 3 and pressuring the ball full court to make the game as fast as possible.
