I went over for visit too SFP. Boy are they up for a big let down. They won't play us to 30 points. Bookit...

I did read your board and there seems to be the usual comments from informed and uninformed posters. I was going to register but decided not to. Just let them know that we play so much better at home and we would welcome them to play man2man the whole game. I doubt if that will happen though.

Butler plays man to man defense pretty much 100% of the time. It doesn't matter who we are playing.

You have to remember it is a Butler board. The majority of posters are obviously going to pick a Butler win. I don't see much disrespect as far as the predictions and comments are concerned compared to what I've seen before. I think most fans realize it will be a close game.

Yeah I read a bit on the board... Didn't feel disrespected or anything. I do hope Butler loads up the man on us, because I think we can beat man D. Should be an interesting game... I hope Bradley can pull it out, but Butler's tougher than we expected this year.

SLB, I am not sure why you seem intent now on slamming Bradley players in every post you make, but I don't get it. If a player has a bad game, maybe I can understand some criticism, but now you are slamming them before the games are even played!

By the way, I thought David Collins played better last game than he has so far this year, and I think he'll do OK tomorrow.

Butler fan.
I just wanted to let you know that at the game in Indy last year my wife and I were treated great by everyone from from the ushers, vendors, and fans. Even in Bradley red. What a cool place to watch the game. I hope we can return the favor in Peoria. Both with hospitality and a loss for the visiting team.

Hey all, Butler fan here.

I am trying to watch the game in Chicago, curious if any Bradley fans were trying to the same.

I have Comcast, but I'm pretty sure that channel 74 is VH1 or MTV or something the like...

Is the game only being shown in the Peoria area?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Well that's no good.

Have any of you subscribed to MVC TV before?

The site said monthly subscriptions were available, but I'm not seeing anything...

Butler's message board if you're interested.

Hello butlerfan, I checked out your board and saw you had the welcome mat out for BU & OSU fans, thanks. I tried to post but could not get auhorized and I noticed no one else had posted either so there might be a qwerp. Any how you have a nice team and a lot of loyal fans, great to see. I don't know how BS did it but he somehow replaced Graves and Green, amazing. I remember watching Howard last year and he is indeed impressive. You have to very nice wins, at CS the preseason favorite in the horizon and NW who is very respectable this year. You guys were asking about our team, we are small, only two guys over 6'5" play but we are very, very atheletic. On given nights we can light it up and have very good transition. We can score off of our D and have out rebounded bigger teams. We make more fts than our opponents shoot. I can't really see BU being any better than ETSU as they had some crafty veterans and and sharpshooter. We jumped them 17-3 and never looked back. With your deliberate style I do not see you making our halftime score prediction Braves 79 Bulldogs 43.

We need to take care of business at home. I think this could be a really tough game. If we hit our 3's, defend, and ratchet up our intensity I think we will be fine.

And thats a horribly generic list of things a basketball teams need to do to win lol

Karen I don't think our local comcast is part of the MVC network..

That is correct, it is not.

But I have heard that Comcast will broadcast the Bradley-Butler game to some of it's Chicago-area cable systems. Comcast also has cable networks in Indiana, but I don't know if any of them will have the game available.

Also, Karen, I've never used the pay part of bubraves.tv to watch a game, but I have a bradleyfan-buddy who lives in Miami who uses it all the time. He's made no complaints this year (there were some last year) as to the quality of the feed.
