Sweet win. Didn't think we'd win by that much. Made our free-throws this time and our shots started going down.

Everyone had a pretty good game I thought. Theron had a stand-out performance. Sam Singh must get magic powers from wearing the protective mask. He needs to wear it for the rest of the season.

Excellent Game!

Excellent Game!

After the past few performances, I was hoping for a nail-biter win. This was a blow out! :o We looked (sounded) great today! I cancelled my monthly bubraves.com subscription because I'm traveling this week, and won't be able to listen or watch. If that's what it take for these guys to win, I'll only listen to games for the rest of the year! Except for the one game I will attend in person on January 24!

Great game by the Braves, especially by SM. Hopefully we can finally put to rest all this silly talk about benching him. :)

Definitely a nice win. Can't believe how bad SIU played. Most of their turnovers were unforced....they just didn't seem to play very well at all and Mullins tried to do it all.

total domination...
several words come to mind...
butt-kicking
outcoached
humiliated
REDICULOUS!!!

I am waiting to see some comments from a few posters who have been a bit negative recently...

Presently there are 93 people online here after a great win...and the other site has 3 people online...hmmmm

I noticed that Chris Lowery gave up on most of his starters early. With nearly 10 minutes left in the game, Boyle, Hare, Clemmons, and Fay were benched and never returned to the game. Bradley stretched the lead out to 27, before taking all their starters out and inserting even some walkons. A few late threes by SIU made the margin 16 at the end.

Mullins was scoreless in the 2nd half. In fact, after he made 3 threes and a couple free throws early in the first half, he never scored again. I thought Sam showed much more energy and outplayed Mullins. Mullins was unable to keep up with Eddren's quickness, and between EM and SM they set up Bradley's offense to perfection. Teron, DC, and Chris Roberts all played extremely well, and dominated the SIU frontcourt. And Bradley's bench clearly utplayed the SIU bench.

The only one of the heralded SIU freshmen that showed anything was Kevin Dillard. He had 21 points, but most came late when the game was over, and he was guarded by deep reserves and walkons.
Between the other 5 heralded freshmen- Nick Evans (0-1), Torres Roundtree (0-0), Ryan Hare (0-2), Justin Bocot (1-2) , and Anthony Booker (1-7)- they were just 2-12, and a total of 15 points.

How about Sam singh's interior defense and 5 steals in just 19 minutes of play!

and where has this team been all year???? This one came out of nowhere today. I wish TB would have played a few more minutes and AT to get some more time than the last 3 minutes of garbage time but I cant really complain.

Richard Hamilton... i mean Sam Singh played the best game I have ever seen him play. Maybe he needs to wear that mask for the rst of his career.

The other Sam was pretty good today as well. It could have been his best performace as a brave. After he hit his first 3 pointer I knew he was going to have a good day.

I saw a fire from this team that I havent seen before. We shouldnt lose a game at carver the rest of the year.

I agree 100%. The freshmen EM and TB looked very good, they all looked good. DC and TW had great games. SM is just too good, he's the best player we have taking it to the hoop with either hand, I'm sure I'm forgetting many but they all looked good today - I hope we can keep it up against WS.

Took me 15 minutes to connect, so there must be some big after game interest in this site today. Go Braves :D I agree, keep the mask on Sam - one of your best games ever!

Who were those guys wearing white with Bradley emblazoned on their jerseys? 55% on Field Goals, 53.5% from 3's, and an unbelievable 82.5% from the free throw line.
Now get this this they actually played D and, well you will not believe this, had ONLY 1 moving screen violation.
Goodneess, we have been invaded by a foriegn entity and they had the audacity to wear our uniforms!
Hope they come back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D

Naw, these were the real BU guys today. The aliens took them over the last 2 games, but had to leave to make a trip down to Carbondale. :)

Great win for the Braves! Nice to start the looonnnggg conference season with a W! Hopefully the team keeps improving and moving forward.

IMO the other site is only a good thing for BU...more exposure is more exposure! I will still spend more of my time here, but I will stop in over there as well.

Please go back and insert SS in your above line:!: If it was not for the all around play of his, this game may have gone the other way.:x

Hey, read the last line. I did give Sam Singh his props. I believe it's the best game he's played here in 5 or 6 years!:D

In the line you highlighted, I was commenting just on Bradley's starters and how well they played.
