ISU - Mo St

ISU almost lost their undefeated streak already...

Almost lost their streak? It's been going on now since Nov. 15th :D

Was a very nice comeback on the road. IMO, game should have never gone into OT though. Pass was tipped, then fumlbed, and a shot from 3 point land, all in 1.6 seconds. I don't think so.

Of course being down 15 points in the 2nd half wasn't fun. But we showed alot of fight to get back into the game.

Last minute or so wasn't handled very well by the Birds either. Of course, when you replace 4 of your top 6 scorers from the year before, things like this are bound to happen.

Birds are still bound for the NIT without a conference crown. You can't schedule like they have and get away with it. 25-5 and in the NIT...book it.

So...are you saying it was played poorly by your Birds or are you saying it was handled poorly by the crew officiating the game?! I'm confused pac.

BOTH

The last minute or so was handled very poorly by ISU. Very bad clock management and ball control.

The last 2 seconds ( I think it was 1.6 or 1.8) was handled very poorly by the refs and the time keeper. There is just no way, a ball can be tipped by a defender, fumbled by the shooter, who then hoists up a trey all in under 2 seconds.

Refs couldn't check the monitors because Mo State's new Arena had no monitors to check. (even though the game was online for all to view)

In tonight's EIU vs. ISU women's game, EIU made a basket at the end of the game that would have tied it. After the refs reviewed the video, it was determined that the shot was no good, and ISU won by 2. This game was online too.

Kind of interesting that refs had the ability to review a Women's non-conference game between EIU / ISU, but didn't have that ability to do that for the conference Men's game between ISU and Mo State.

If you're looking for sympathy this might not be the best place.... ;)

Not the best place but if true it shows you that the league still does not care about the quality of officiating and this will one reason why the Valley will never be ever to get over the mid-major brand. The best conferences pay for the privilage of having the best call their games because all aspects of the product effect your brand.
