Did anyone hear the loud guy near section 15?

During a quiet moment this guy yells out something like: "I didn't know we were playing SIUE again today--my mistake". He could be heard throughout the whole section and then some. It was extremely funny. I think he was also the one who shouted: "SIU, you suck--just go home". He was so loud it was almost like he had a megaphone.
 
Near the end of the game I was on the mezzanine near section 18 or 19. I could hear some guy screaming "Hey Lowery, make sure to run their ***** off in practice" and the like.

Yea - I heard some crackpipe yelling some meaningless stuff similar to what you said. Why would someone want to embarrass themselves. :lol:
 
I heard 2 loud mouths near section 20. One was for SIU that would yell at the refs and would yell when we were shooting FT's. The other one was for BU and was quite hilarious as stated above. I was quite astounded at the # of SIU fans that made the trip or happened to be relocated to the Peoria area.

There is always alot of SIU fans in Redbird Arena too... i think alot of them come from here in Springfield... not sure why.. but their appear to be a ton of SIU fans living in Springfield

Loudmouth #2 here from section 20. The SIU guy was right behind us and was obnoxious but funny. He was yelling for Fay saying this was HIS home court and to play like you did in High School. Every time Fay would mess up I would respond...good job Fay keep playing like you are STILL in HS.

He also was all over Lowery telling him to make the players run after this performance...I told em to do pushups and jumping jacks also.

The FUNNIEST comment was him telling the refs to call our pushoffs by the guards. How an SIU fan can complain about anyone else using their hands is as funny as it gets.

He got REAL quiet late and even took off his maroon shirt when he left.:)

Fay attended Putnam County HS in Granville, but he did play a few games in Peoria when his HS visited Peoria Christian. But I don't recall him ever playing in Carver Arena, does anyone know?

Did his team ever advance past the sectionals?
