Postgame- BU 56 ISU 52

Another fabulous win for the Braves ... Bradley defense was great again. Down with the Birds!!

4-0 is a great thing but doing it against ISU just makes it so much sweeter.
 
There are a lot of very unhappy people sitting around me in my office right now, and I couldn't be happier :)

They also didn't appreciate me hanging up my "Pluck the Redbirds" towel when I got here either. I suppose if I couldn't be at the game, watching it on TV and watching everyone around here get upset was the next best thing.

HUGE WIN! GO BRAVES!!! :-D
 
Well, that is about as close to being ranked as ISU will be all year, hope they enjoyed their 15 minutes.

Amazing win for us! Defense was great, forcing ISU to chuck up a lot of 3s. Curious to see how many blocks we had. That one block sequence we had towards the end of the game was insane.

Everyone looked good. Our freshmen continue to impress. David Collins is playing well. Hard to tell if he was wearing one of those protective masks or not. :)
 
Didn't get to follow the game at all, but looking at the box score, wow, nice team effort it looks like. How did ISU only get to the FT line 4 times? Must have been some great D by BU!
 
Outstanding game. We really do not look like the same team from a few weeks ago. Anything less than a Valley crown is going to be disappointing at this point.

The way they've been playing over the last few games, I think thats definitely possible. Defense like that for the rest of the season will make the Braves a very, very difficult team to beat.
 
Was talking to some of my coaching brethren the last couple of days about this game. We all kind of came to the same conclusion....force someone else on ISU to beat us. We did a very good job of pushing them out and forced them to shoot from way outside, but we were still right up in their face.

It's nice to get 5 rebounds out of Chris Roberts to go with the scoring. A lot of those were down the stretch in the heat of the battle.

He had 5stls as well:eek::-o which were huge and didn't he have the huge block when ISU had stolen the ball and had what looked like an easy layup?!? HUGE!
