They strapped a bag of ice on his foot. It did not look good on TV. He was really limping on it. I'm sure he'll battle through it, he's a warrior.

Looked as though he should be ok, was walking on it better towards end of game. Just needed to walk it off and no need to throw him back in the game with the win in hand.

Just because he was trying to walk it off doesn"t mean anything as if you sprain your ankle it gets worse later on , hopefully he will be ok.

I can tell you definitively that it is just fine. I was with Sam at the post game party at the Pere Marquette and the 50 or so people there can all attest to the fact that he was walking with no limp. He even said that it wasn't a big deal and that he expects to practice on Monday.

Celebrated the win elsewhere and was wondering, thanks for the report...

The party after the game was a great time. Free food (including cuts of prime rib...a pleasant surprise), reasonably priced adult bevarages, and the chance to hang out with the team after the game made for a wonderful postgame retreat. I got to talk to most of the players and they were in a great mood, showing personality, being goofy on the dance floor, etc. Keep an eye out for next year's alumni post-game party.

Sam said same to me at postgame party as well. And I can confirm, was indeed a fun postgame party. It was interesting that Coach Les decided not to show up... I think his family was right next to where we were standing and they suddenly got up to leave, so it seemed like he was planning on coming. Hope everything's alright with him.
