Tyler Zeller, a freshman who broke his wrist in North Carolina's 2nd game this season, and who was planning on redshirting, has now decided to come out of his medical redshirt year, and will play tonight.
Zeller scored 18 points in UNCs first game, then he broke his wrist in the second game.

I don't know. Maybe if the team wasn't going to head deep into the postseason, then I'd agree with you. But UNC has a few regular season games left plus ACC tourney plus deep into NCAA tourney more than likely. So, that's potentially quite a few basketball games.

And since they have a shot at winning the championship, who wouldn't want to be a part of that?

Exactly! Zeller is at best sticking around 1 more year. He may be even thinking of trying to leave after this year if he can rebound from the injury and impress a few scouts.
