Well technically, that is a light crowd per Nascar's standard. The blockbuster races draw over 150,000 people. The Daytona 500 draws roughly 250,000. Also per the link below, the Brickyard 400 in Indianapolis draws roughly 400,000 and Nascar has 17 of the top 20 most attended sporting events in the world. The biggest attended event i've been to is Thunder Over Louisville. It's the Worlds 3rd best air show in day time and largest fireworks show in the world at night time. It's held in the middle of April and roughly 850,000 attend depending on the weather of course.
