The MVC Championship game just tipped off. Ahelegbe scored, then Emmanuel Holloway sank a three, and ISU lead 3-2.

Eglseder made it 4-3 UNI, then Holloway made another three so ISU is now up 6-4.
 
UNI starting to pull away, up by 8 with 8 minutes left in 1st half. UNI reminds me of Bradley's Sweet 16 season. They don't blow you out but they are kind of a tease and let you hang around and then just keep hitting big shot after big shot.

Perhaps Jank is regretting playing his starters till the end of the game yesterday. They look dead today. Shots clanking off left and right, slow to the boards, etc. ISU and CU both will certainly be in the NIT if ISU doesn't make a game of this. Even if they do it's still borderline.

19 points in first half for ISU, only 1 point better than CU yesterday lol. Luckily for ISU, UNI hasn't been hitting their shots like they did against us yesterday.

I agree! Our guards could not stop him! The guy has some guns on those arms. He is lowering his head and pushing off with his body to get some space but honestly I believe that is fine as long as he is not using his arms and driving all the way to the basket like a bull.
 
Maybe I just missed it, but did the halftime coverage by CBS completely ignore anything about the game that they are showing? I heard talk about Alabama-Tennessee, Michigan St.-Purdue, and a pregame for UNC-Duke but nothing about the UNI-ISU game that they are currently broadcasting. That kind of bothers me :|

Because in a 19-27 game, there is something going wrong which could give them something to talk about. I'd rather see them analyze this game then tell me that Michigan St. locked up the Big Ten and raised a banner before their game with Purdue or give me the pregame to the game after this. I can almost understand the pregame for UNC-Duke because it directly follows this game and there won't be any time for it.

Great game so far! Just they type of game I wanted to see, close and well fought. Both teams are representing the conference well!

Now let's hope UNI pulls this one out! :D
