NCAA Tourney upset thread

Edit: Or should I root for LSU so that way mid-majors don't do well in the tourney and we can maybe get more in next year?

Well, I picked the wrong upset. I had VCU winning and W. Kentucky losing. And W. Kentucky is one of the few mid-majors that most pundits had as an upset pick, but I went with my heart instead. Oh well. I did not have Illinois going past the second round anyway, so no big damage.

But W. Kentucky is the first non-BCS team to win today aside from Memphis and Gonzaga. So that may be a bad omen for at-large bids for mid-majors next year! :D

I had both VCU and W. Kentucky winning. VCU came so close... gotta give credit to UCLA for playing great D on the final possession.
 
I had UNI and W. KY for big upsets today, Grrrrrrrrrr. Least W. KY pulled it out for me. Just goes to show how big 1 injury can impact a team. Let alone 2 or 3. Probably would of been a different game for IL had Frazier played.

-9th seed 24-9 TX A&M over 8th seed 25-8 BYU by 13 points
-10th seed 21-13 Maryland over 7th seed 22-11 California by 13 points
-10th seed 21-13 Michigan over 7th seed 23-9 Clemson by 3 points
-12th seed 25-8 W. Kentucky over 5th seed 24-10 Illinois by 4 points

-honorable mention of 6th seed 26-8 UCLA by a point over 11th seed 24-10 VCU
