Ticket sales for Monday's game vs. Oakland

Sounds to me like the arena will be lucky to have 4000 people in it tonight...

Glad to see the ticket manager, ticket office, and marketing people are doing their jobs well

I'm sure we'll have more than 4,000 there tonight. However, it would have been nice to have the two-for-one deal available to the public for more than just 8 1/2 hours.

This was also available to all season ticket holders. Only had to pay $9 for out tickets. Wouldn't want to miss it for anything. I am looking forward to another big game and a victory tonight.

Wow.....that's a great deal if all the season ticket holders only had to pay $9! No reason to not have a big turnout tonight.

You probably knew this, but the 2 for 1 deal only applied to upper bowl tix. The lower bowl season ticket-holders had to buy uppers to partake in the offer.:|

Well, that's what I thought. That's why I said it would have been nice to have that deal available to the general public for more than 8 1/2 hours the day of the game. All weekend would have made more sense to me.

I called Shea and they said that students can pick up tickets either at Shea or at the Civic Center, hopefully there will be a big student turnout tonight

Always better when there's a big student turnout!

Keep in mind that Shea closes at 4:30 today.

Why wouldn't the students show up for this one? I'd suspect that mid-terms are done. They are still in Spring break mode/form so why not extend the party a little longer? No excuses from the students.

Same reason nobody else is showing up.

Quality equals quantity.

Quality? Quantity? Hey, if Bradley is playing basketball in Peoria, my group is there, period.
I do not care if they are play NJIT.
When have we, Peoria fans become elitist? If they are, they are delusional.

A lot of you guys already responded to the quality/quantity comment. The BU basketball is a good product and I believe it will be better next year but as a fan it should not make a difference for the students right now. They have a chance to root on fellow classmates and I do not care if you are in HS or whatever, if you have no excuses you should be supporting your team, especially one that has shown a ton of heart. What's better then heading to a game today? Sitting in your tiny cell/dorm room and play video games?????:?
