Championship of CIT- Tuesday March 31, 7:05 pm- Bradley vs Old Dominion U.

The www.odusports.com site says it will be streamed at www.FoxSports.com, but there is nothing there about it.

Here is more-
http://odusports.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/032709aaa.html

This release from Bradley also says it will be streamed live, but at http://msn.foxsports.com/fcs --

http://www.bradleybraves.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=25965&SPID=1498&ATCLID=3699083&DB_OEM_ID=3400

Here is the main site for FoxCollegeSports--
http://msn.foxsports.com/fcs
There is an ad for the CIT in the upper right, and down the left side there is a mention that it will be carried by FoxColegeSports Central.
But I don't see anything about live video streaming of the game Tuesday.

If anyone comes across news about video streaming, let us know.

BTW, when I searched for CollegeInsider stories, I found this one. I just can't get tired of watching it--

We love our very active 2-3 zone. At a time out we may change form zone to man for your first possession (just to stop and make the point guard think) and then on the second possession we will go right back to the zone.

We will play zone all game if it seems to be working. Poor JMU were 25 seconds into the shot clock before making any real offensive moves or passes.

Towards the end of the game we will add a trapping element to the zone.

Our coach is VERY active on the sideline.... our team is soooo young he is teaching and coaching every possession. You will see him pound the floor with both hands... means its the end of the game... turn on the lockdown defense. He'll have his arms raised like he is actually anothe defender... its kinda funny.

Thanks for the scouting report:)

yeah... um I'm guessin you guys have dvds, vhs machines and other ways of reviewing past games..... it's one think to see it, another thing to break it.

Someone help me understand. Is Fox college sports the same as fox sports midwest? When I check Tuesday at 7:00 on Fox sports midwest it does not show the game?????

Fox College Sports is not the same as Fox Sports Midwest.... this is a regional sports channel that is only available on Sports tiers for Digital Cable or Satellite providers.

I'll do my homework onthe day of the game for the video feed. Hopefully Bubraves.tv will have the link up for us. If not I'll just have to run down to the local watering hole and pray that they can get the feed. This should be an interesting game. I'm expecting us to presure them as much as possible! We probably do not want them to just walk the ball up the court and set up a 1/2 court game or for that fact we'll be looking for easy transition baskets so they cannot establish their zone D.

There are 3 FoxCollegeSports channels available:
FoxCollegeSports Atlantic
FoxCollegeSports Central
and FoxCollegeSports Pacific.

Here is a link that should show their schedules, however, it's worthless and hasn't been updated in almost 6 months-
http://msn.foxsports.com/story/1523301

Here is another schedule page, and it does show the CIT CXhampionship game on for Tuesday, March 31, at 8:00 pm EST.--

Here is the main site for FoxCollegeSports, but there isn't much about the CIT telecast. It does list in the left column, that it will be broadcast live on FoxCollegeSports Central on Tuesday, March 31, at 8:00 EST (7:00 CST).

Good luck finding it on your cable package, because the Fox site is not very helpful. They do list a toll-free phone number, but I don't know how much good it will do.--1-877-2GET-FCS

There is a good chance it might also be streamed by channelsurfing.net, or a pirate site like justin.tv

One more link- if you live outside the Peoria area, here is a locator page that will tell you what cable systems and which satellites will carry the game.

http://msn.foxsports.com/tv/schedule
and enter your zip code. You will see all the cable providers in your area that have FoxCollegeSports. Also it lists the satellites that carry it.
Then after you select a provider or satellite, reset the schedule for Tuesday, March 31, and it will tell you what channel it will be carried on.

This will help your local watering hole find the game on cable or satellite.

I checked the outlets for the Peoria area--
It shows Comcast in the Peoria area will carry the game on channel 534.
Mediacom in the Peoria area has the game on channel 173
But bad news - it shows that DirectTV and Dish Network in Peoria area will not have the game available.

Last year Fox Sports Midwest picked up the Cincinnati game.... I wonder why they wouldn't do that for this game this year?

Plus last year, for the CBI, Fox College Sports showed the games for DirecTV. Why is this not being shown this year?

Just got back from Shea and there was a bigger line that was consistently ten deep as people were steadily coming in. Two ticket windows open, so it went very efficiently as well. I wasn't there for the last game, but this morning was busier than the line for the Oakland game. I'm expecting around 8,300 fans, hopefully all in red!

tickets

I'm a season ticket holder who lives about 50 miles from Peoria. Just returned after a few weeks in the sunny south. Have tried to call the ticket office to purchase our season seats, but get nothing but a recording. Anyone know of a way, short of driving to Peoria, to get my tickets?

Try again, the office has been busy. I am sure they will get caught up and will be able to help you.

If you aren't able to get your own seats, there are still some good seats available in every section.

I've already posted the "Per 40" numbers in this thread, so thought it was time to post the "actual" individual stats from both teams for this season. All players averaging 10+ minutes/game are included. This is essentially everyone that is expected to get in the game for Bradley. There are three ODU players that average less than 7 minutes/game.

wow ticket lines???
I guess in a way that is GOOD news!!

I think it's definitely good news compared to the 6-7 people that were there when the Oakland tickets went on sale.

I just did some searching on ticketmaster.com and here are the best available seats...

$30 - Mezzanine, Section 13, Row WC

$25 - Lower Bowl, Section 2, Row B

$20 - Lower Bowl, Section 4, Row C

$14 - Upper Bowl, Section 1, Row 18

$9 - Upper Bowl, Section 1, Row 29

Looks like people are definitely taking advantage of the 2-for-1 special on the $9 tickets. I picked some up just after 8:00 this morning in row 24 and three hours later they're in row 29.

For whatever it is worth, I have AT&T up in the Chicago area and it appears the game will be on channel 648 (Fox College Sports Central). This may not help many, but there is a time slot blocked out for the game.

Any word on campus how student ticket sales are going? Would love to have a full student section along with 8,000 others wearing red!

I'm pretty sure students get in free with an ID, so it would be hard to gauge how many students will be going.

You're right....I forgot about that. I'm guessing students are able to pick up their tickets at the arena box office right before the game?
