Darian Norris granted transfer from Bradley

DN had it made he is under 6', a shooting guard/point guard wannabe and could have given JL that five guard line up he has dreamed of. Can't understand why he would leave...

Now here is a person with both a sense of humor and a sense of reality all at the same time. Rare combination. Nice post... I nearly blew water out of my nose as I was taking a drink when I read it. Thanks.

thanks for the visual GTD... nice to see you are back from your
vacation. keep posting...:)

I have talked to a couple insiders, and Bradley is sorry to lose Darian. This was 100% the Norris' decision, based on their desire for Darian to play point guard.

Glad you posted this, I was starting to think if maybe the coaching staff suggested he leave.

Unless he gets a waiver to play next year, he won't have the pleasure of suiting up with Xavier, who will be a senior.

I hate to see him leave as he was a good shooter and I thought he played great defense for a freshman, I completely understand why as when you add Warren to the mix next season then minutes will be harder to come by.
Good luck to Darian and I hope everything works out for you in the future as I really believe you are a good player and the type of person we like to have in Peoria .

I am not really surprised that DN decided to leave, there are only so many minutes available the next two years with AW, SM, and McCain projected to get the bulk of the minutes. And thats not even counting Dodie or Chris for next year. I wish him well wherever he ends up.

I dont think his thought via PM isn't anything that we've all heard about for a bit anyway.. it's all just discussion at this point. Just keep that in mind. I could be wrong... in which case... send me a PM, too!

The only reason I'm not incredibly surprised is because he backed out of his verbal to South Carolina State because it was so far from Vegas. I with nothing but the best for DN and will be keeping tabs on him.
