Jordan Prosser in April 3rd All-Star Game

I meant to post this for you guys over the weekend, but apparently I forgot. Prosser will be going up against 2 ISU committs, Terry Johnson and Zeke Upshaw.

Nice article on JP in the Bloomington Pantgraph.

On his signing with Bradley.....

???I won??™t have to live at home anymore,??? he said, smiling.

His mother, Jill, won??™t be far away. She heads the hospice program at Peoria??™s Methodist Medical Center, so ???He??™ll be just up the hill,??? she said.

Jill Prosser is a loyal and, on occasion, vocal supporter of her basketball playing children. Daughter Chelsea is a 6-2 freshman at Missouri-St. Louis and 6-4 son Josh is a sophomore at Eureka.

Mom was especially sensitive this year to watching opponents gang up on Jordan.

???They??™re pulling his jersey and shoving him,??? she said. ???There is a breaking point, and I??™m like, ???OK, that??™s it.??™ ???

Eureka coach Tim Meiss saw it as well, and marveled at how Prosser handled the attention.

???If he was frustrated, he never showed it,??? Meiss said. ???If guys were taking away his cuts or pushing or shoving, he just kept working. I never saw him quit.???

To quit would be an insult to the game. It is not the Prosser way. His father, a teacher at Midwest Central High School, played at Eureka College and has coached for 30 years.

Hey Tornado... you might want to look into if Prosser will actually be playing in all 3 of those All-Star Games...

IIRC, last year, Jeremy Robinson almost played in 3 all star game and if he did, he would have been ineligible at ISU his freshman year. Someone got a hold of him just in time for him to NOT play in the last one. There is some rule set out by the NCAA that you can only play in two all star games.

I could be mistaken but I am pretty sure that was the situation...

Like I said, I am not 100% sure, it could be 3 tourney's are allowed and Jeremy almost played in a 4th...

Just an FYI on something you might want to look into.

I can't be certain as I am not JP's agent...and the actual rosters for the IBCA are a long way from being posted, even though he's from right down the road and is on the first team,
but maybe he isn't going to play there. There's also the Flash Flanagan exposure event, so would this also count as an all-star game?

I'm not real sure... like I said... I am not an expert on the situation... I just know there was SOME rule in place that almost got Jeremy in trouble in regards to too many All-Star Games...

Also, I am not sure how accurate the rosters are for the riverwar game in STL... They, at one point, listed both Justin Clark and Jon Ekey on the roster, and neither are reportedly playing...

The rule is that the player is only allowed to play in two All-Star games before graduation.

Since the IBCA game is after graduation, Prosser is fine.

Thanks for clearing that up. I knew I wasn't crazy!
