Next Year

I'm putting together my 09-10 MVC early season preview for next year. What is the consensus on who will be starters? Will Les go with the 4 wings and 1 post lineup as he did for most of the year?

depends on health and availability...my guesses........

Three of these four....Maniscalco, McCain, Warren and Roberts at guard
then....two of these guys...Singh, Egolf, and maybe Prosser or Taylor Brown...
but as an option, he might go with four guards...SM, EM, AW, and CR, with Egolf.

EM, SM, AW, TB... and then either SS or WE, depending on his knee.

Oh boy, let the starting projections begin again! :)

Betting line says:

2-1 EM, SM, AW, TB, SS with WE as the starter towards the beginning of conference play.

Next best odd will be CR instead of TB

and a long shot either JP or MK stepping in at the 4 or 5.

and the Mine That Bird odds insert AT at the 5.

This will not happen but I would like to see a starting five of...EM, AW, JP, TB, DD..........with SM and CR the first two off the bench. I would take TB off this list if WE is ready to play.

SM, AW, CR, TB, WE. Dodie then EM off the bench for the guards, Singh at the beginning of the year for the bigs, and hopefully Prosser by the end of the year

I'm thinking about the same as thefish7, except having SS instead of WE. EM,AW,CR,TB,SS with SM,DD,WE and JP coming off the bench, at least for the first 5 games or so.

I really hope EM comes off the bench to sub in for SM at point. SM will be so much better at point for us without all the defensive pressure being on him. EM is not a scoring threat...he can be left completely open. SM cannot and it'll open it up for others. Get as many offensive threats out there as possible!

I agree. So how about: SM,DD,AW,TB,WE

Then like Mrcoachdude says, when JP shows he can handle it, we go with:
SM,AW,TB,JP,WE
