Appleton is a kid out of Chicago who starred at Chipola juco and was a top rated recruit, and spent (wasted) a year at Kansas, never getting to play much behind Sherron Collins.
Bradley had the kid on the radar screen, but once the kid left Kansas, he was headed to Southern Indiana to play with Jamar Smith.
BUT - the scandal at Southern Indiana has forced a change of plans...
now Appleton is going to a different D-II, Southwest Baptist (Mo.) University

Tyrone Appleton was from Gary, Indiana (Roosevelt HS), though he spent time at a couple prep schools, Harmony Prep in Cincinnati and Bridgton Academy in Maine. He went to Midland CC, and was on the juco national championship team there when Alvin Brooks III was an assistant.
