Nice Recap of Brazil Trip in PJ Star

The best news was in the summary of Will Egolf-
WILL EGOLF — “One of the downers of the trip was to not get him more game time. We were squeezing some big bodies into tough travel situations and there was a little carryover effect in Will getting ready to play and to feel comfortable with his knee. Will couldn’t get to that level of comfort with his knee, so we erred on the side of caution (Egolf played just 12 minutes in the first game and not again). He looked pretty good in his one game. He has good athleticism. I don’t think the injury has taken that away. He had an MRI when we came back, and it was negative. He’s back rehabbing and we’ll give him a little time to rest up.”

It sounds like some of the problem with will's knee came from travelling around in cramped busses and planes, and that the MRI done this week looked fine.

Also, Andrew Warren should be ready for the start of practice.

I was wondering if WE's problems might have stemmed from cramped quarters. I had my knee completely repaired 17 years ago and I am nowhere near as tall as WE, but even my knee gets really stiff. Does not surprise me that he is having that kind of issue, but I am glad to hear no serious problems!

Nothing but positive from this trip. Warren getting back near or at 100% and Egolf rehabbing and getting himself back, well even if they both are not 100% this team will be special and the Valley better recognize very soon that this will not be anywhere near a 6th place team. To deep, too athletic and to quality to be anything other then challenging for the Valley title.

This will be a special season at Bradley... book it.
