Got a sneak peek at practice. I was practicing at the same facility. It was just him. Looks good. Smooth. No obvious pain. Good rotation and follow through. No reports of pain. Spoke to him for awhile. Says he feels great. Getting ready for conditioning drills in a few weeks.

He looks fit and relaxed. His sister called from Indy so I let him speak with her allthough he was wiling to call her back or put her on hold while we were talking......nice guy, but ANYONE that has ever met him in person allready knew that.

HEY..I go to a gym....just not one with basketball hoops anymore.

Sorry...I guess I failed to mention that "practice" was at the driving range. :)

He DID look well though. Nice stroke and good to see him relaxing working on his golf game. He looked bigger then I recall. Its funny how you see these guys ON the court standing next to 6'10" guys and they look "small".

AW is a SOLID 6'5"......and like I mentioned he looks stronger.

for anyone who has seen AW lately...he's been hitting the weights hard and his upper body looks like Dwayne Funches!

I'm glad to hear that. There were only two things about AW's game that needed improvement:

1. He played to soft at times and I bet the added strength will help him become a little more physical.

2. He at times for long stretches of a game got lost. Just was not around the ball or not aggressive enough. I expect this to change with maturity.

I expect big things from AW this year and next. He will be the man this year if he wants it bad enough. There is not a player on the team with the all around skills he brings to the court. The only person that can stop AW from reaching his full potential is himself or maybe that little bone in his foot.
