Well, AP has really fallen out of flavor in Cleveland. The last 3 games he's barely touched 25 minutes per game with about 8 points and a few boards on average. I think if Shaq wasn't there, AP would be doing a lot better as the offense would be able to flow a lot faster but Shaq is just slowing things down and Cleveland is struggling as a result.

Jason -- Delonte West has been back for a few games.

I actually think AP would be most valuable coming off the bench for 20 minutes per game. He'd probably still average 8-10 points and he'd be fresh for the playoffs.

I've watched all the Cavs games, and AP is playing well, and the home fans love his energy, hustle, defense, and skills. The problem is just what everyone thought it would be, there aren't enough shots to go around after Lebron gets his 20+ per game, and Shaq and Mo Williams take most of the rest among the starters. AP hit a big three last night to stop a run by the Knicks that nearly got them back in the game late.

We are soooo early in the NBA season and I predict by mid-season AP's shot total will go up. He's a team man and when you are new to a situation you tend to pass up shots. He'll be told to shoot more!;)

He's becoming The Hawk II in the NBA now. He basically stands out at the 3 point line as a decoy/threat to shoot if the defense sags. That's what happened to Hersey as he got older and it appears AP is seeing the same fate. I don't see that changing a whole lot with the line-up the Cavs have. He's also on the floor for his good defense, which was also one very underrated reason Hersey and AP play(ed) even though on offense they were being used as decoys. IMHO
