What Are You Most Excited About Today's Game?

NOT including anything related to seeing how any players have progressed...

For me...

I'm excited to see/hear the band. I think they do such a terrific job of representing Bradley. I love that at most timeouts, we have the band playing rather than music piped through the system.

It will be fun seeing the people I have sat near for the past several years. We don't hang out or really even run into each other during the offseason, but we are buddies during the season.

Finally, I am looking forward to seeing if there are any changes to the arena. I don't go to Rivermen games and like to see if we have made changes to the floor, scoreboard, or other aspects to the arena. Sometimes the changes are subtle, but they are always there.

What about you?
 
I'm anxious to see if Taylor Brown is as improved as some of the reports seem to indicate. And also a roster that has at least 8 starter-caliber players...

I'm anxious to see if TB plays today or if this will be part of his "punishment". Haven't heard anything at all; just something that's been in the back of my mind for a couple days now. I'm really looking forward to seeing his game this year!
 
I'm looking forward to hear how our freshmen played, I've got high hopes for them, many of us haven't got to see them play yet. Well, some of you saw them when they played in HS but most of us did not. Go Braves!

Looking forward to the reports tonight. Going to a friends house to watch the Bears game. Go Bears!
 
I am looking forward to listening to Snell on WMBD... being out of state is tough not being able to go to the games. :-( Looking forward to all of the reports about the players tonight from all of you!
 
Just getting to go to a BU basketball game because of the atmosphere, the team, the fans, the cheerleaders and the band make everything happen that is good about being in Carver arena for the game, the people that have never attended a BU game in the civic center have no idea what they are missing, it will be fun getting there early to watch all the new players warmup.
 
I agree. I have this friend who hasn't gone to a game at all his previous 3 years. I'm trying to convince him to go to at least one his last year here at BU. I told him he doesn't know what he's missing also. I still remember my first game haha.

Agreed! Can't wait to take in the entire atmosphere of going to another Bradley basketball game! :D
 
Only get to see 5 games before I head to Az for the Winter so I want an early peek at what I'll be missing. And as a season ticket holder for 40 years I can gurantee you do miss the only show n town during the Winter months. Super Bowl wouldn't keep me away, much less a Bear game, if there's a BU game and I'm in town.

AW and WE looked great, and I saw no evidence of any residual effects of their injuries.
Chris Roberts did hurt his right hand late in the game. We'll have to wait to see if it's anything.

From what I recall regarding past injuries...They take a lot of time to diagnose, especially when they occur on a weekend. Wheneer you involve Radiological a diagnose has to go through both the radiological specialist and the ortho? doc(s)

Obviously a significant break would be immediately diagnosed from x-ray, but really anything else would take more time.. This happened on a Sunday and there was probably no reason to call in a specialist off-hours.

Anything slight would get reviewed the first working day (today), and if additional tests were needed (i.e. MRI) I would not expect hearing anything until Tuesday. And really, there's no reason to tip off BYU either way. I'm not sure if we'll hear anything until gametime.
