Anyone not using 2 Sunday. I got back in town late Friday to pick up my season tickets and the ticket office was closed. Nothing like waiting until the last minute eh....:)

Thanks.....

Check with the Will Call folks tomorrow. I think they usually have the unclaimed season tickets there prior to the first game. I've picked up my season tickets there two or three times

I'd guess about 7k.

With a Beautiful Sunday high of around 70 AND with DA Bears playing tickets won't be a problem...I just didn't want to pay if I didn't have to. :)

I'll bet you our favorite beverage attendance will be closer to 5,000.
Also, I have 2 tix, call me! I am in "the book. Sunday AM.

5,000 would be the lowest attendance ever for a game that was part of the season ticket package. I don't see that happening. I remember a non-conference game that took place the night of a blizzard a couple years ago that drew thousands more than that.

I am a Bears fan but would never stay home and miss a BU game, as long as Ron Turner is coaching the offense they are a boring team to watch.

I am a HUGE Bears fan, that being said, I don't miss Bradley Home games. Only missed 1 since 1992. Can't wait till tomorrow.

Say what? That was a Northern Iowa game. Attendance was so sparce, Paul Herzog asked the upper bowl folks to move to the lower bowl so it would not look so bad on TV
I am talking fannies in seats, not seats sold.
Bears+ NFL+ Great weather+Sunday+Exhibition game=mediocre attendance.
Well we will know in 3 hours

OK, but in the MVC, official attendance is reported as tickets sold. It will be reported in tomorrow's paper as around 8000.

By the way, do you have any idea how many season tickets were sold this year?
I believe, unfortunately, due to the economy they would have to be less than last year.

Exactly. Besides, nobody has control over the people that have tickets and decide not to show up. Others are probably just unable to make it due to other circumstances. Either way, the official attendance will be higher than 5,000. I guess it's a matter of defining "attendance". Personally, I would much rather count the people that come through the gates at every college basketball game, but that wouldn't be the "paid" attendance.

If a tree falls in a forest and nobodys around, does it make a sound?

The Northern Iowa game was about 10 years ago, the day after the big storm. Small but loud crowd.

Grassman wins......5K MIGHT have been to many but I'd say no more then that.

Like I said...Bears...good weather = small crowd.

Would have loved to stay home and watch the 2nd half of the Arizona Bear killing, but being a loyal BU fan I gave up that enjoyment for a BU victory.

How did your Packers do today Chico?? At least the team that beat the Bears had Red & White on. They, the Bears, are not as good as I thought.

Thanks to everyone for the Bradley game threads, if I lived in the Peoria area I definitely would have been at the game and not watching the Bears, Go Braves! Let's see how we do Friday,

And how the Bears do Thursday night.

I thought about heading to this game but after the shellacking they took I'm not to sure I want to part with my money so quick. I also probably will have to pick between heading down to a bar on Friday to see BU or head down to Candlestick to see the Bears on Thursday, unless I want a miserable weekend from the significant other.

Not very good because they aren't very good. To the Bears credit, gosh I hate saying that, they got beat by a quality team. The Pack got beat by a team that was 0-7. The Packers play the Cardinals the last game of the regular season in Glendale. Hope to see that game.
