Brown

what the hell could it be? Im so tired of this team never being at full strength

I agree. Especially in a big game like tonight. Either we get hurt or we hurt ourself. I'm afraid to pick up the paper or look on this site anymore because there always seems to be some sort of bad news about the team (or the future team--losing recruits). I think Coach Les picked a poor time or the wrong punishment for Brown.

As much as it hurts the team, JL made the the tough, right decision. You cannot expect discipline if you don't enforce it.

I don"t think it was from the fight, something else had to of happened like him being late for practice or a team meeting while they are in Provo.

It could be a mixture of things, we really don't know so I don't want to speculate. I understand that there is added pressure with being an athlete, but sometimes they just got to figure out a way to stay out of those types of situations. Not only does it hurt the team because they would've had a decent shot at beating a good team while on the road, but it lets down the fans too who packed into The Fieldhouse among other places to watch the game and are consistently showing up at Carver to watch this team.

Seriously? You guys actually know anything? Cause if you do - please share.

We may never know, since the team keeps these things private. But I don't think it was from anything that happened in Provo.

Don"t you think that if Taylor was suspended for the fight that happened a long time ago that Les would have said that he would be sitting out the 1st game because of it. let"s face it that the fight was no secret so I don"t think it had anything to do with tonight. I know we may never know why but it just seems like something happened last night or this morning with Taylor that may have gotten him in trouble.

IMO, if it WAS because of the fight and he was going to be suspended for this game it should have been announced earlier, not the night of the game.

I just saw on Brown's Twitter page that he has now locked out his tweets to the public. Has it been like this for awhile or wonder if it had something to do with tonight.

Guys...can we not make more out of this than it is? There was speculation about a month or so ago that there may be a 1-2 game penalty for TB, and that perhaps it might be out of JL's control. Well, there's your proof. We all know the kid got in trouble over the summer. Right or wrong, he got in trouble. So he's paying a penalty. I'd much rather have him miss BYU and Idaho St than SIU and ISU or any 2 conference games for that matter.

Second, why would JL make this public? It's an internal matter, and if anything it made BYU waste some time preparing for Taylor Brown.

Let's not make a mountain out of a molehill. TB got in trouble this summer, he's doing his time, and he'll be back sooner than later. End of story.
