BU v. Idaho State Video

Already submitted my complaint to tech. support on the website. Not sure if it'll do anything. But wanted to post it here too in case it helps get in front of the right people.

The audio is very low on the video feed. I've got to blast my volume to hear anything. And now the WMBD radio feed is super low. Can't hear Dave Snell at all. I can hear the arena and crowd but not the radio crew.

Someone please fix this.

You're not missing much...BU down 10-4 due to wretched defense, missed shots and offensive turnovers...Hope this doesn't become a habit for BU...

Only 30 minutes to go until Colts vs Pats..ha ha

Not JumpTV's Fault

Not JumpTV's Fault

I realize this is not going to make the viewers feel any better, but the audio issue tonight is not JumpTV's fault. WMBD switched out their audio box just before going on the air and the new box does not have the same outputs we always use to grab the audio feed. We quickly got Dave Snell an additional microphone, but his focus I am sure is not on holding that close.

Man...I'm sure glad I didn't waste my money this year. I learned my lesson after the first 3 years of over-priced, crappy video.

Wasn't someone posting on here that the video feed would be much improved?

Lets hope it gets better, I was disappointed, but we'll call this a dry run... Eventually BU HAS to catch up to the times on this though, hard to maintain a alumni-base outside of Peoria with this kind of service...

Mr. Parker, what would it cost to have a higher quality video feed? Personally, I would be willing to pay more for better quality.

I still appreciate the option. I'd rather follow my Braves from afar for a WHOLE season through mediocre video streams at PCC (road is much better) and give up one nice dinner out than have no access at all. (Fortunately, I don't have to give up that dinner out since I'm a successful Bradley alum;) )

I wouldn't mind the mediocre video IF it was the best possible. However when I watch video from less prominent basketball programs than BU with less of a fan base and the quality is superior it really doesn't sit well.

So it makes me wonder what is the excuse? We know financially BU athletics is doing very well.

I think it reflects poorly on Bradleybraves.com since we can't get a decent video feed.

With that said I appreciate having a video feed but at this quality I would expect it to be free.

I just heard from a high authority that the problem is not with JumpTV- it was a technical problem with some equipment locally. It is a one-time issue and will get fixed tonight, and won't happen again.

You know DC I have heard that time and time again about the production of internet feeds, audio whatever and it is crying wolf over and over again. This time it was a malfunction, next time it will be something else... whatever if you decide you are going to offer a product, then produce that product to the best of what is available. NO more excuses and honestly Im tired of excuses, how about we pay for a product and that product is given without issues or excuses?
