Bu 56 WC 54

Wofford had that alley-oop scouted out, I think we tried to run it twice and it got disrupted both times that I saw.

Well I'm sure Les' intention was not to let Wofford back in the game. If I were a coach in that situation, no problem with slowing tempo a bit to try to control the other team's opportunities on offense... But the slowing of tempo should not equal Maniscalco dribbling around like he's lost it should just discourage him from taking a 3 after 5 seconds have come off the shotclock.

Perhaps BU could lobby to abolish the shot clock and let BU go 4 corners when they have a large lead at the 10 minute mark!

That's my big problem with JL as a coach. Under him we never seem to go for the kill. It seems like as soon as we get up 10 or so we start holding the ball and let the other team back in the game! Up 10 with 2 minutes left that's fine but with almost 10 you are trying to give the game away!

I think it is pretty Classy of Coach Les not to go for the jugular. I mean, c'mon... Roberts throwing down a 3 at the buzzer last year when the game was already decided got a lot of bad press. So I repeat... Coach Les not blowing Wofford out was a Classy move. ;)

I would bet good money he didn't take those players out trying to be classy. I believe he fully intended for them to put the game away. I agree he might've done it in order to not get much more of a lead but I don't think he expected for them to come back...classy was not the motivation of the substition. We put some people out there that are part of rotation and Wofford came back and almost beat us. Let's not try to spin it any other way and not give credit to Wofford. They almost beat us...and it was with people that we normally use...yes not our starters, but still a number of people in the normal rotation. So I repeat...it was not done to be classy. No way.

 I think someone is missing some sarcasm.
