I just wanted to say hello to everyone, I've been checking this site for years now almost everyday during the basketball season. I became a BU fan when I was in 6th grade in 2003 when I went to the Jim Les basketball camp. I won the camp knockout competition and got to talk to Coach Les for a while and he was a super nice guy to me, so I started following the Braves. I am a huge fan and I try to watch every game available on TV or BU.tv. My favorite player since I have been following was Jeremy Crouch, and I like Coach Les a lot as well obviously, but I also have learned almost the entire BU history mostly from this board (thank you) and know about all of the important former teams and players as well. I finally decided to join the forum after the Braves beat the Illini yesterday. Me and one of my good friends always debated about Bradley and Illinois all throughout high school as big college basketball fans. We were watching the game and I couldn't help but rub the win in after the close lose a few years ago to Illinois in Chicago. I am now a freshman at a community college in Illinois. So thats a little bit about me, and again hello to everyone!! I didn't know where to put this, so sorry in advance if I should not have made a new thread for this.

Can't blame you for being excited about yesterday. The Bradley fans I have seen and talked to today in Las Vegas are still excited and can't stop talking about the win. It's amazing what one key win like this can do for the fans.
 
Welcome:!: it's great to have a young and long time BU Fan enter this great site for information/opinions about not only BU BB, but all BU athletics and sports in general! You will find some of the most knowledgeable posters on BU BB anywhere:!: They are all great people/fans who want the best for all BU sports, players and coach's! There are some poster's who can go way back in time. So most all your ?'s will be answered. Also as you have/will see some of these poster's are very good and creative at their Avatar's leaving only for your imagination to take over from what they have provided;-):biggrin:
Don't be shy about giving your opinions but be ready if some don't go along with them. Just be ready to suck it up:!::lol: Let me give you a couple warnings! Use spell check, check your typing and use correct English because there are some on here who will attack you on them in a heart beat:!: JK :lol: As I seem to be the only target for, such.:lol:
Once again it's great to have young BU fans posting and supporting BU:!:

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, My dad and I (using correct grammar lol) are going to be at the game Wednesday at NIU, I will probably be wearing my red Braves hat and either a SM or AW jersey tshirt...wish they had regular jerseys that weren't kids sizes. I have my #13 jersey I won at the camp, but it has Jim's autograph on it so I don't want to wear it. Anyway maybe I'll run into some of you guys there! Also yes this board is the best board I have seen, it is sooo much classier and more knowledgeable than almost any team forum I have visited!

Actually i visit most of the teams that Bradley will be playing's forums and all the forums for the Bears, Bulls, and Cubs plus some of the teams they are playing. Not saying there isn't argument and frustration on here cause then it wouldn't be a forum, but in terms of what's allowed I've seen MUCH worse than anything I've ever seen on here and I've been here almost everyday during the season for years. Plus posters tend to have opinions that are nonsense, rude, and lack knowledge on what they are saying on some other forums, I haven't seen many arguments that haven't been supported in some capacity on here. Most people bring up good points, in my opinion anyway haha.
