current MVC stats 12/9

Well I know we have played some good teams but our team stats sure don't look so hot....hopefully we improve as the season goes
 
Interesting note from those. UNI is only in the top 3 in one category (TO margin). Otherwise, they are outside the top 3 in all other categories, and they are dead last in several others. It will be interesting to see how these stats change as the year goes on.

Our stats look horrible with the lone exception of 3pt D. It's hard to see how we couldn't improve and if we don't, this could be another season to forget. It's a good thing that stats don't always tell the whole story...except for wins.
 
Man the average scoring at 65 per game is just not acceptable. But really anything to do with scoring (shooting % from anywhere), creating offensive possessions (rebounding, steals) we are very poor at doing.

These statistics are very alarming for a team that has some skilled scorers... or atleast I thought we had skilled scorers. The Free throw % is just horrible. 65%, grade school teams shoot free throws better then that.
