Wow- BU loses 68-65

Was listening to the postgame & JL said the two set plays at the end of the game were drawn to go optionally to TB or CR. TB was ice cold? Why not go to Warren or CR to free TB up to crash the boards??? He is the best rebounder!

The whole second half Loyola extended their D & we remained perimeter with our bigs setting picks out by the 3 pt line. That would be ok if you had a DSE like player who could gash to the rim & finish but they exposed BU's biggest weakness - they have nobody who is capable of playing with their back to the basket. 6'9 & 6'11" guys are getting the ball with a run at the basket & trying layup - at least DC would dunk those last year.

One of the worst coached, unprepared and played games I've ever seen Bradley play. You got a kid who hits 4 shots in a row, yes, four shots in a row and he's taken out, somebody explain that to me, and is apparently the best shooter on the team, taken out to sit on the bench and allowed back into the game with a minute left in the first half, just unbelievable, I can't understand it.

It's the same coaching formula I watched very closely all of last season and it hasn't changed one bit this season. That, and the seemingly random timeouts.

The amount of missed free throws this year is totally unacceptable.

The inability to close out games is ridiculous.

Injuries are not the problem, coaching is the problem.

Free throws and execution are a big problem for this team. Those things are fixable. This team did turn around last year after a bad loss at Milwaukee.
I don't agree that it is due to coaching.

Did ISU lost at Ohio because of coaching? Have Creighton's losses this year been due to coaching?

Does anybody realize that Sam Singh was outrebounded by a guy (Aric Van Weelden) that was 6-foot-3 after TB's last shot. In his 15 years on the team, when has he proven that he should even be in the game at a time like that?

I feel like I am beating my head against the wall...

I feel like I am beating my head against the wall...

The program has not taken any steps forward. It is the same stuff each year. JL needs to step up or bring in some bball minds to help.

The coaches are coaching down good players, not coaching them up.

Frustating...

I'm sorry, but that was the worst 1:30 of basketball I've ever seen with a 4 point lead. We turn the ball over twice with over 20 and 15 seconds left on the shot clock. We then foul the other team twice so they make all of their points at the free throw line to tie the game. Then we shoot the ball too early on the last possession with our best rebounder taking the shot 15 feet from the basket. Why not put Egolf in for the rebound instead of Singh. Frustrating to watch when it's such easy fundamental basketball principles.

This game was a disaster from the beginning.

Why is when we take a shot, many times there is no one within 15 feet of the basket for a rebound?

Why do we take out MK when he is on FIRE!!! Someone, please give me a reason.

Why do we call timeouts when we HAVE momentum after a big basket? I don't get it. At all.

Why do we say JE is off his redshirt, then not say he is hurt? Total cluster of a situation.

Why do we spend the first 75% of a full timeout doing NOTHING. When we had the ball with 30 seconds left and called a timeout, Les stood by himself, with absolutely NO help from any assistants, looking at his whiteboard. He goes into the huddle and sits down and within 5 seconds the horn blows.

I haven't seen so many absolutely ridiculous looking turnovers since my first game in 5th grade against St. Phil's. Act like you've had the ball before! Play under control!

Refs were terrible for both teams. Those guys were AWFUL.

Free throws. Are you kidding me.

How does Singh NOT get that offensive rebound on our last shot? He was right there!

Hmmmm, first half you wouldn't have even known there was a shot clock and we were up 12. Second half the crowd is calling down the last few seconds every possession, and we lose.

The game's been over for an hour and SM just took another ridiculous driving layup that doesn't have a chance.

I'm upset.

sometimes you have to blame the coach when the same things keep happening. Like I said it was team loss...players and coach alike

I could care less what ISU and Creighton are doing...

We are embarrassing ourselves...and we are getting beat because of lack of effort, lack of execution, lack of consistency, lack of focus...
Those are all things that I feel are directly on the shoulders of the coaching staff...
I can accept losses and inconsistent, uneven play when it is due to a lack of talent...but I don't feel that is the problem with this team...

I don't believe coaching was the entire reason we lost, but maybe you can answer this Coach. Why does Les seem to bench the hot players for ten minutes (MK tonight) at a time when the rest of the team is having an off night? Shouldn't a coach play the percentages?

And I know this is a second question, but why did Les draw up a play at the end of the game to a poor shooting (for this game) TB instead of leaving him exposed and getting the ball to one of the hotter shooting players? I think it's things like that lead to some of the questions that our posters ask.

Singh was in the game because our other two 'bigs' played the softest, most timid game I've seen in quite a while...

Singh is simply not a viable D-I player at this point in time...nice guy to have around...but if he is our best option as a big to have in the game during our last possession of a tie game...it's safe to say that our bigs are an absolute disaster.

I can't believe Bradley just lost to Loyola. Loyola didn't have anything special on the inside or outside. It just looked like the players didn't care to be there. They gave away so many possessions. The talent is there.

Boogie if you watched the game at loyola last year you would not be so surpurised we won the first 20 mins the next 10 were a tossup and then we had no answer for their adjustments

We let another slip away.

couple of things...we made a three in the second half and the crowd started to get into it and JL called timeout....now I haven't understood those all year but I really didn't tonite....we need the momentum and it was sucked out right then

Secondly why wouldn't we guard the inbound...they can't run the baseline with 2.5 they have to make a fairly long pass and we gave the pass to them...I don't get it.

Tonight I thought we got outcoached...particularly in the second half

I totally agree with ALL you have said:!: Talk about momentum killer! Why in the hell would you take a player out who was on fire (4 straight shots) and the lead climbing:doubt::roll: What the hell was with WE at the other end of the court and not guarding the in bounce passer:doubt::roll: Whats up with that:doubt::? And , And Why would you go for the pass with 2 sec.'s, with a half court shot and let the player behine you for a open look at the basket. Just put your hands up and block his view, Gee's:roll:
Also with 3 time outs in the last min. did anyone see a play, see what looked like a play, that may of came out of ANY OF the Time OUTS:!::evil:

Les was playing a Con Game with TB. He was giving to TB his own (Jim Les's) confidence. ;)

Was anyone actually hot in the second half?....I'm still trying to figure where that half went
