MVC games today (1/1/10)

Indiana State leads Creighton 34-27 at halftime.
Kenny Lawson leads CU with 7 points. CU is 1-10 from three.
Rashad Reed leads InSU with 9 points. InSU is 2-10 from three.

Altman's motivational techniques seem to be working. Creighton has come out and played much better the second half, and Indiana State has gone cold. The score is now tied 41-41 with 15:13 left.

For Indiana State- Harry Marshall is 1-5 and Dwayne Lathan is 1-7 from the floor. Rashad Reed has 14 points.
For Creighton- P'Allen Stinnett now leads them with 12 points.
 
I have one wish for the new years....MORE CONSISTENT REFEREES IN THE MVC.....we just played a football game with Southern Illinois and now I think if you breathe on creighton wrong its a foul....I think we look better without Kelly
 
I'm watching the channelsurfing stream, and I agree, the sycamores look pretty good without Kelly. Even when Creighton pulled even, they didn't get rattled, and played very well to pull back out to an 8 point lead.
Creighton is the team that looks disorganized. There is still time for either team to win this, but with 6 minutes left Indiana State leads 61-57.
 
I think its the up tempo style in us coming out more where Jake kind of wanted to slow down....I would still love to have him tho!
 
Creighton goes to 0-2 in the MVC. Wonder when was the last time they started 0-2?

I'm not sure what the big deal is with Kelly. I've yet to see him play, but his numbers are not very impressive at all, unless you're talking about free throw shooting.

Seriously though, who would have thought that Creighton would be this bad this year!
 
I'm guessing you're implying I'm being more of a creighton fan than a BU fan? However, I'm just saying Creighton has earned the right to be feared on any given season or game. They WILL be better than Bradley this year...book it. And I thought that before we had this awful loss tonight and even after we beat Illinois. Say what you will about me...but I'm a fairly consistent person. And I'll definitely admit when I'm wrong so feel free to bring this up if we do somehow manage to end up higher than CU this year. For the life of me I can't see it happening.
