Sorry DC, I'm pretty sure you're wrong on this one. I've checked the local listings and there is a women's basketball game on at that time.

The problem is that Comcast in Peoria is not the same Comcast as in Chicago. Channel 74 in Peoria does not carry the same programming as Comcast SportsNet Chicago. The only time we get the BU games up here are when they are classified as the "MVC Game of the Week" (but this is not one of those games) ... then we get them.

There is a stream available on BUBraves.TV for those out of town, like myself.

I am just going by what the Comcast and BU people have said-- The last Comcast game, the one at Drake, was carried by Comcast in Chicago.
In fact, they say all the local Comcast games are contracted to be carried by Comcast in Chicago on channel 102.

The WSU game was carried by Comcast Chicago as well.

Correct. I have head from people in Chicago who watched it.
I hope they pre-empt that women's basketball game!

we need to get em while they are down, and quite frankly, they are DOWN. Step off the zone defences, play some man to man and guard that 40% three point shooting team, and I think we can get the win. Our team needs to play two first halves, not just two halves.... ;)

Better FT shooting by BU would also be beneficial for a team is trying to get points in the paint and who has slashers who try to draw fouls going to the basket.

It will come down to which BU team shows up at MSU....and I hope its the good BU team!!

Here are the free throw percentages in Conference play. Despite a bad game against Indiana State, Bradley is 2nd in FT percentage only to UNI, and has made more free throws than any other team.-

Sam Singh's last game at Mo State...again ;)

Rusty, I hope we see his best game of the season tomorrow. He should have a lot of family and friends there. I liked that combination of Sam and Will in the game together, I've seen it a couple times and it worked good.

I've always thought Sam is a good player, too bad he had those injuries early on in his career but 6 years on a college campus isn't bad either.

GO BRAVES !

I'm 100% sure you're wrong. The game IS and WILL be on Comcast 102.

As long as Taylor, Sammy, or ADub are shooting them, we will be fine...

Seems to be everyone else right now that has the issue.

Thanks for the great stats DC...

I guess it comes back again to which BU team will show up vs MSU - the one that shot >80% from the FT line in four of the past five games :D , or, the one that shot <60% from the FT line last Wednesday  .

The average American has one ..., well you know how this saying goes...;)

I just registered today on BradleyFans.
Wanted to let Chicago BU backers know that you may need to add Channel 102 (Spotlight) to the regular cable package and you'll get all of the games broadcast by Comcast 74 in Peoria (I think). It's a pretty good deal if you plan to watch the rest of the Bradley games. Some I.S.U. (Red) games are included too.

The FT's have definitely improved. The more we get AW, TB, and SM there, the better. WE is improving as well, and I think CR is better than he's shown. Sure would like to have the WCU and Loyola games back, as I think a few more made FT's would have this season looking a lot different. Just shows how slim the margin is between good, average, and bad.

Mo St is one of the few valley teams that our guards are better than so we just need to get something from our bigs and this game will be a lot closer than those on the other board think. Springfield had been our house of horrors for years, but we have played well in their new facility. This is the team we will be battling for 6th so we better come prepared to play 40!

This year, this may not be true. Missouri State is #1 in 3-point field goal percentage in the MVC, and that is due to their guards. They also have the best turnover margin, and the best assists/turnover ratio.
Adam Leonard is having agreat season. He is a transfer from Eastern Kentucky, and is their 2nd leading scorer. He leads the MVC in 3-pointers made. They have a junior college guard named Jermaine Mallett who is 3rd in scoring, and is tied for their team lead in rebounding, and is almost as good a shooter as Leonard.
And they still have Justin Fuehrmeyer, who is now a senior, who is a steady point guard who doesn't score much, but can still shoot the ball well.
