Eastern Illinois knocked off Morehead St (ISU's BracketBuster opponent). E Illinois being 203 in the RPI vs Morehead's 105.

Western Illinois WON AT Oral Roberts!!! Western Illinois being 307 in the RPI and ORU 121. AND... ORU has won at Stanford (RPI 160), beaten Mizzoo at home (RPI 40), and also beaten New Mexico at home (RPI 9).

Maybe Western Illinois is the best team in the state of Illinois? After all, they beat ORU who beat Mizzoo who then beat UIUC.

Also... Morehead St and ORU should FIRE their coaches. ;)

I watched the end of the Morehead State EIU game, and what a bizarre ending. In a close game, Morehead State took a 75-74 lead with 14 seconds left, then EIU played for a final shot. With just 1 second left, a Morehead State player stole the ball, but as the as EIU player tried to grab at the ball to get a jump ball, a Morehead State player called timeout to save the posession. However, MSU did not have any timeouts left. So EIU was awarded 2 technical foul shots. They made both to take a 1 point lead 76-75. Morehead State got the ball back after the technical, but there was not enough time to score.

The ORU score was really a shocker...I can only surmise they suffered a letdown since the WIU game was sandwiched in between games at Oakland and against IUPUI. WIU hit 8 of 12 from 3 and never trailed. ORU just missed a 3 at the buzzer that would have won the game.

The Summit League tournament only takes the top 8 finishers, so this year it looks like WIU has a good shot at making it
