Missouri State beats Nevada 62-60 and SIU beats Western Michigan easily to bring the BracketBuster results to 3-0 for the MVC (UNI beat ODU last night)-

Great start so far! Just watched some of the MSU/Nevada game. It was a hard fought win for MSU as Nevada missed a bunch of free throws and a couple of open threes during the last few minutes of the game. A big day would go a long way in improving the Valley's RPI ranking, if not pushing Wichita St. further into the at-large discussion. If not, maybe at the very least we get one more team into the NIT bubble.

King O is down.

Went down hard after charging near the basket. Down for about 90 secs before walking off on his own.

Looks like a possible hand/wrist injury. We'll see if he comes back this game.

Indiana State and Evansville both gave up considerable leads and blew their games in the final seconds. UIC didn't have a lead in the second half of the Evansville game until 0:04 to go.

Watching the Wichita game...

They just showed teams that have participated in Bracket Buster who have made the Sweet Sixteen or beyond lately because they were talking about Wichita State and the success of teams in Bracket Buster....they showed Wichita State in 2006 on the list, but didn't show Bradley

That's because ESPN didn't put us on TV in 2006, so we weren't technically in the event.

They basically balked at the idea of 6 MVC teams out of 26 overall teams being selected.

Ah I see, I didn't know they just meant the ones they put on ESPN networks. That's stupid, we still beat Tenn. Tech. in the bracket buster game, even if it wasn't on ESPN networks.

The Shockers are down 45-32 with just under 12:00 to go in the game. They are no shooting the ball too well against Utah States zone. HMMMMM? I'm just saying.

Shockers lose to Utah State 68-58. Utah State is one of only 3 teams during the last 10 years to have won at 23 games. The others are Kansas and Gonzaga so no shame at all for the loss. I expect to see a lot of zone defense from us on Wednesday. We'll need to really attack the defensive boards.

The MVC got a nice boost in Conference RPI based on Non-Conference ratings. We moved from 12th to 9th. As for RPI based on Overall ratings (including Conference games), we remained at 9th.
