I just logged on and found 110 people currently online at BradleyFans...
is this amazing or what??
It's the middle of the work day, and we aren't even having as great of a season as we'd all like, but this certainly shows the kind of fans BU has...

I quickly used the links to check the other sites in the Valley and here's what I found..
nobody is even close to BradleyFans....only 3 other teams' sites have more than 30 people online (Creighton, Wichita, and surprisingly UNI are all fairly busy),
but Evansville, InSU, MSU, Drake, & SIU are all slow...
Not surprisingly, the slowest board in the Valley, even slower than Evansville, was the ISU board with only 10 people online (and that even counts their football & women's basketball forums, too!).
There's another board in Central Il, to, but they are DOA..only a dozen or so people online and most are not on the basketball board.

So what more to say....Bradley's fans are still on board (no pun intended) and active, and I think they beat the fans of every other Valley team hands down!

All that said, I fear a much smaller than normal contingent will show up to St. Louis this year. JBucks next Friday will tell me all I need to know about where this program is in the eyes of the fans.

I live in Florida during the winter so anymore I check in before game time to see who's going to play or not play - you just never know anymore! I follow Florida State in the winter and if Bradley's administration and rules were enforced down here FSU wouldn't be fielding a team half the time!

If this is what you judge by, you'd be making a mistake. I know at least 5 families and/or groups of fans who did not buy tournament tickets this year, and it was a decision they made before the season due to economical issues. These are great fans who have been to nearly every tournament. I sure there are many more such people who would usually be in St. Louis, but this year had to cut back. I am sure the attendance will be down, but not due to lack of interest or loyalty. And I expect we'll see this phenomenon affect the following by Creighton, ISU, MSU, and UNI fans, too.

Yeah, I got to say, I have gone to St. Louis every year that the valley tourney has been there. I have gone to a BU pregame party twice! Don't really think you can judge the fan support by how many show up at the pregame party!
