"Hottest team in the league"??

tornado

Hmm....I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion, but here's what the Creighton people say...
"The Braves come into the game tomorrow as perhaps the hottest team in the
league, having won five of its last seven games, with the two losses being
decided in overtime and on a putback basket with less than a minute left. Two
of the five wins have come against the league??™s top two teams, then
18th-ranked UNI, 68-59, and Wichita State, 75-73. Playing them twice in one
week is a bad draw for Creighton, no two ways about it."

I'm more concerned with just winning...period. Being hot means nothing if we can't win next week. Let's just win when it counts...starting tomorrow. I want to see 40 minutes of good basketball...not just in select stretches

Our guards are really going to have to play tough D and help deny the entry passes to Lawson for us to win.

Not sure what is meant by the "Creighton people" ? Does ONE person who opines represent the entire fanbase?

So when Wessler writes his stuff its what the Bradley people think......OK

Not saying BU is or isn't one of the hottest. Winning 5 of 7 is nice but when its helping you hover around .500 it losses a little luster.

IF it propels this team like it did the last time we had succes (2006) then we can look back at it as noteworthy.

I don't know if ISU is the hottest but, with the way Odiakossa is playing , they are extremely warm.
Good game tomorrow on the Duece @ 7:00. ILL.St @ UNI.

I think the CU writer is just hyping the game for the fans.....so they think more of it if they win....

So now someone saying they don't think Bradley is the hottest team and that ISU is is anti-BU.....wth

Braves can solidify the 'hottest team' in the League claim with a win at CU.

BU, END THE STREAK!

Enough is enough!

Yeah Bradley sure has dominated the tournaments in St. Louis....chances sure say they will win..........

Pessimistic Sarcasm.

I want to quote a friend who claims to be a Bradley fan....

Me - "Hey so I found us a place to stay in St. Louis"
Him -"I'm not going....I don't think they will win. I will go Sunday maybe, if they make it."

How can one not be optimistic about the tournament!

The two "hottest teams in the league" are 8-8 1/2 point dogs tomorrow. How many here are looking at a "hot" moneyline parlay?

As for me, I'll pass. Let's revisit this topic in another 8 days or so.

what do those 'wise guys' in vegas know anyway. i think isu and us both win straight up. easy money.

Well I for one think its a good thing that they think its a bad draw to play us twice in one week. If they think they somehow slipped by with the win today, then Friday is OURS
