Sorry, didn't realize BU Haiku posts now also banned from this site.. ;)

Go Braves, lets end the streak vs CU today!

I've been a Braves fan since the 1949-50 season. (How many of you remember those Braves ice cream bars Rozelle's created?) I graduated from BU and moved away (not too far), but continued to follow the Braves and, as career and family allowed, attend as many games as possible. I could never get enough BU basketball. I read, watched and listened to everything available on the subject. I never dreamed that one day the ability to indulge myself, 24/7, in BU hoops would be right at my fingertips. It's a wonderful connection to Bradley basketball ... past, present and future. And an ideal pasttime for guys like me with way too much time on their hands. I truly appreciate the folks who created, pay for and manage this site. And, I fully support their right to set the rules. It's their house ... they invited us in ... common courtesy suggests we follow their rules.

I was tempted to bring back the haiku after the win over Wichita, since they have started a haiku thread on their board. :)

I never complain about an individual player or coach, except one player a couple years ago who it turns out now I think we could use his toughness, but IMO this board is about BU basketball and I see nothing wrong with most posters giving an opinion which doesn't mean they are complaining or are anti-Bradley. Just showing their passion for Bradley basketball. No one is happier than me for this board and all the work DaCoach does.

Drink the kool aid or be banned! I calls it like I sees it. Losing 15 point leads is not good. Sorry.

I for one and I'd have to again have to believe the vast majority of the posters do not mind a bit of free flowing frustration comments to come out when you truly are but....when it is continuous, on the same subject, from the same people with never ever a positive comment from them it gets old really quick. You just have to wonder what their agenda is or are they truly just old curmudgeons with a stick up their arse. 1/2 empty or 1/2 filled regardless there is still water in that glass and those that find it empty every time may as well go find another site on where to bash us kool-aid drinking, rose colored BU supporters. JMHO! Thanks Da_coach for giving us the forum where we can share our passion in a civil manner.

Don't forget the smell of popcorn as soon as you walked in the door.

Keep Posts Positive

I very much love this board and love BU basketball. I appreciate what the folks that pay for and run this board do. I am concerned about the current state of our program but stay positive and hope for the best. Maybe our year will come next year but until it does I will remain positive and take the good days with the bad. My wife is usually the one that pays the price when Bradley loses, but after 30 years she expects it. Great lady!!! We brought our first Daughter home from the hospital in a Bradley outfit, so you know how understanding she is.

I also agree that the games being over the net was a big deal. I haven't lived in the Peoria area in years and most of that has been outside the US. I remember the first time I listened to a Bradley game over the internet, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Now I get to watch about every game, amazing!!!

Thanks again for this board, your sacrifices are appreciated by this Bradley fan.
