Dayton doesn't look very good. ISU looks horrible. Thornton is keeping them in the game.
They seem to have reverted to their stuggling non-conf. play when they started playing someone decent.
Let's see if they can turn things around in the 2nd half.

Osiris Eldridge is 1-7 from the floor, 1-1 from three.
 
ISU cut Dayton's lead to 5 (43-38 ), but then Dayton has run off 11 straight and now leads 54-38 with 6 minutes left.
 
This game is ugly. Dayton is playing much better in the 2nd half, running an efficient offense and making their shots. BUT ISU is playing out of control. lots of turnovers, and wild, low-percentage shots. This game will be a blowout.
 
Tulsa and Kent State are going down to the wire...TU leads 70-69 with 3 minutes to play. The winner gets the winner of the Illinois game.
 
Kent State leads Tulsa 75-74 with 12 seconds left. TU gets the final possession. This game is a lot like the BU game at ISU Blue where both teams were scoring on every possession late.
 
The pathetic postseason continues for the Pac-10 tonight. While Stony Brook could not get the job done against Illinois, their America East conference mates Boston University manhandled Oregon St. at their place 96-78. This makes the second CBI in three years where Oregon St. loses at home to a small/mid major team, as they lost to Valparaiso two years ago.

One can only wonder how Washington and California will look in the NCAA Tournament this week!
