It was a perfect day for me today college basketball wise. Not only did Butler make the Final Four, but Kentucky gets knocked out due to ghastly three point shooting (10%!) and 50% free throw shooting!

Great job teaching fundamentals once again Calipari! :D
 
didn't free throws hurt him last year as well?

and didn't Cal once say he never prepares for any particular opponent and doesn't view film of them to prepare...he just gets his players good enough that the other teams need to prepare for him...

well, it might have done him some good to prepare for West Virginia's 1-3-1 zone that aggravated the heck out of Kentucky all day
 
Congrats to Butler! It was almost insane how much CBS' Len Elmore was "hoping" that Kansas St. would take this game over and win. Everything was about what Kansas St. needed to do or how they would wear down the mid-major school. I am so happy to see he was wrong.

Call me crazy, but I think if things align right, that very well could be us next year! We can be similar to them I think.

Great job Butler and Brad Stevens! You deserve it, and I'm so happy for you, go represent us "mid-majors" well! Now I really hope we face them next year! A final four team on the road would be an awfully good resume win if we could get it! Even better what if it was a National Champion win on the road.;-) Go BU!

I thought it would be a home game for us, but maybe I'm wrong.

Got it. Now I'm not so enthused about playing them at their place especially since I believe they bring back most of their team next year (scary!). But at least it would boost our strength-of-schedule.

Well I would be making the trip down there, I have a friend at Butler. It isn't that far, we could get some Bradley fans down there! Be optimistic, the road win will look even better than a home one.;-) Plus hopefully we will still get New Mexico at home. That way we could have a good home and road win, I'm not be too greedy am I?:D
