One of Evansville's top players leaves

This type of news isn't good for the Valley. Evansville seemed like they could be a team on the upswing with the development of Colt Ryan and Denver Holmes and the meshing of the team late in the season. Losing Haarsma pretty much guarantees another 10th place finish...unless ISUred can't go on living after losing OE.

James Haarsma, who left Evansville after spending 2 seasons there, is transferring to UW-Milwaukee. He'll be a teammate there with former ISU guard Terry Johnson, who is also transferring to UW-M.

I believe Haarsma's former teammate Kaylon Williams is also set to play for UW-Milwaukee after spending this past year at Kirkwood CC.

Former Evansville guard Kaylon Williams played last season at Wisconsin-Milwaukee, after a year at a juco. He started every game as a juniorand averaged 8.3 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 5.4 apg.
But he is in some pretty big trouble now. I would be surprised if he plays again at UW-M. Rob Jeter has had quite a few player discipline and legal issues in the last few years, but he usually deals with them better than his former mentor Bruce Pearl-
