Who are you excited about for next season?

Two things....I think WL will make this a solid recruiting class on his own. I like the idea of DSE and WL on the court together in a year or two. Second, I liked McCain and am pulling for him as a young man. What happened to once a Brave always a Brave?

Don't know the situation with McCain's leaving so I can't judge him, but IMO you have to earn the right to be Once a Brave, always a Brave. Others haven't.

Edderen worked hard and played hard while he was here, sometimes things just do not work out but the young man went thru an awful lot of bad things and I hope things go better for him as no one should have to endure the things he has , he will always be welcomed back to Peoria.

I would say that I am excited about what Coach Platt will bring to the table. Also I just love Taylor Brown. I hope that he plays a FULL season up to his potential because he could go down as a GREAT ONE! I'm just excited about the season. Once again the Cubs are giving me nothing in the summer and all I can do is think about this upcoming season. GO BU!

1. Jake Eastman, I think he took great strides at the end of last year. I think he will make a big contribution this year.

2. I would say the 5 spot is my biggest question. Figuring out who will step up and take the spot. How much will WE improve? Will AT finally develop? Is MO good enough to step right in and contribute big minutes? How much will JP contribute this year?

I am confident someone in that group will step up, if not all of them. But who will make the biggest stride to be the man down low is the question for me. It will be interesting to see.

So how many 3's will JE bury in 2010-'11?
He had just 4 last season.
Looking at last year's stats, BU didn't shoot well from 3-pt. line.
Hopefully JE can go from 31% to nearly 40% next season. I think he's a hard-working kid and we'll see improvement from him in both scoring avg. and free-throw %.

my question is....wasn't he scouted as a prolific shooter? then he gets in the game and would repeatedly drive to the basket....

He was a good shooter in high school, but I wouldn't say he was ever a "prolific outside shooter".

oh ok. nonetheless he seems to have no intention of lighting it up from outside

He's only one year in, so I don't think we can peg him yet. I like that he took it to the basket and a lot of times and that he usually made something positive happen. If he can shoot outside and take it to the hole, that will make him very dangerous. What I would like to see from him this year is better free throw shooting first and foremost.

Yes, that would make him more effective (around 75% free throws), since he can draw a lot of contact driving, just like DSE, and supposedly WL.
