Congratulations to Chris Roberts! Yesterday was the final cuts and Chris has made the final roster of the Idaho Stampede in the NBA D-League!

Note that they play one game in February (2/26/11) that will be televised nationally by Versus cable network.

After playing in the Idaho Stampede's first game, Chris did not play in their last 2 games. I have not been able to find if he is injured, or what the reason was. He still appears on their roster.

I live right outside Boise and there has been nothing in the paper about him.

I noticed his name didn't appear in the last box score. Not sure what is going on.

Chris Roberts is no longer with the Idaho Stampede. He was released to make room for a couple new players they signed. Good luck to Chris!

I don't think it had anything to do with his performance in the 1 game he played. The Idaho Stampede have made a bunch of roster moves in this past week. Chris was the victim of a numbers game in all their recent roster shuffling. I think they are trying to strengthen their team, but also sign former NBA players who will increase attendance.

Over this past weekend they acquired a center named Josh Lomers who took Chris Roberts' roster spot, and they released Chris. They also acquired forward Luke Jackson (of the University of Oregon).
Then yesterday they traded forward Walter Sharpe for another guard named Dontrell Jefferson, who is a similar player to Chris Roberts.
And then yesterday there was news that the Stampede planned to sign former NBA player Antoine Walker-
