The stars are aligning, baby. Bradley lulls the Dukies to sleep by losing four straight. Duke's star point guard is out. Let's shock the world!

A guy can dream, can't he? Let's at least play a tough first half and show how much fight we have. I am optimistic that we can avoid humiliation.

Let's go, BU! Lots of basketball left!
 
Come on Missouri Brave, back to your room. Your family has been worried. What have we told you about wandering out into the big mean world by yourself.
 
Personally, I do not think any team is humiliated losing to a team like duke at Cameron, no matter by how many points (barring like a 100-0 loss). Its Duke, their #1 national Defending Champions. Yea if we get smoked other teams and fans in the Valley will chuckle, but deep down, they all wish it was them with the opportunity to get smoked.

I agree. This was a good thread by Missouri, even though I think he knows the Braves would have to have a miracle to pull this one out. Some posters seem to almost hope the Braves get smoked and like to make a joke out of it.
 
Flash! Chico about to eclipse T as the ultimate BU Fan(atic)....

I don't wear a BU letter sweater and have a 1950's basketball in my study from the BU glory days. I also don't hope BU loses. I don't feel posting rah rah, fantasy land, win one for the gipper boys, threads are a requirement to be a BU fan and supporter. This is a sports forum and not a BU sanctuary or Group Therapy Session where all is lollipops (apologies to the late Dick Maguire)...

It BU will get wacked, it is better to be laughing than crying about it.

When there is something positive to say about BU's chances or results, it will be said.

Thanks for the compliment, but no one can top T when it comes to trying to put a positive spin on a bad situation.
