Duke point guard Kyrie Irving "doubtful" for Bradley game

I wish I would pay attention OR that ESPN announcers would make it clear.....so you guys are saying Kyrie did NOT play.

Wow.....perhaps they could mention it again and again and again on sports center...PTI and at the very least show him on the sidelines about 2 dozen times during the game.

So he was out huh.....

It's the breakout player on the #1 team in the country. Of course everyone and their mother is going to repeat it over and over on ESPN.

If Duke was playing, say, St Louis the other night, do we even care how much ESPN is reporting it? Be honest.

Kyrie Irving is not as interested in helping Duke to another championship as he and his family are focused on next summer's NBA draft, and the money that comes with it. It a lot more money than he has been makimg as an amateur.
So any decision about trying to come back and play this year will be affected by the fact that aggravating the injury could significantly affect his future earnings as a pro.

I think your really jumping to conclusions here, and even if thats the case, does it matter? Should I hate POB? It's the system that's put in place by the NBA. I wholly disagree with it, but I'm not going to blame the players for doing what's in their best interests, unless it is cheating or breaking rules.

On that note, the NBA wants to raise the minimum age again - This time to 20. While I used to be an advocate of it, I am not sure I am anymore. I'm not sure what guys like Kevin Durant and Michael Beasley really add to the college game only being there for a year. It will be interesting to see how this thing unfolds with the NBA's new CBA.

AS a fan watching the game I want all the info I can get....if Duke has one player down and St Lou has 3 starters out I want to here that. I want them to comment on why Duke is struggling but I also want to here why St Louis isn't giving them the game they might have otherwise....

Yes honestly I want to here the FULL and Un Bilased story......especially being a fan of the underdog/non BCS schools.

I understand why you won't here it on sports center but during the game I certainly do...

They gave Bradley a ton of coverage in the first segment of the game discussing our injuries, so I think they fulfilled their end of the deal.
