hope he does not make the mistake of saying he wants to see NCAA wins and titles for Bradley or the fan base will haunt him forever over that comment...
 
I thought Coach Ford's comments were perfect. He focused his words on the commitement to process and effort. Can't wait for the season to start.

Sounds like he's talking about what he talked about with the team last night.

Going to be at the top of the league in scoring, likes the game to go fast.

When he played, he said he tried to always shoot. If he wasn't open, he wanted to get open.

Wants to keep opponent FG% down.

He had not been to peoria before last night.

Everyone has been great. Players ahve been great

He never went thru a coaching change as a player. He had a coach almost leave so he understands the uncertainty.

He can tell the team is commited to each other.

Talking about recruiting Illinois - has experience in Chicago and Rockford.

Big picture, its the players that win. It's his system, but they win. Gotta have the right kids.

Wants to get to Chicago. He wants to get kids on campus to just let them see what we have.

BU Scout: How to get students in stands?

CF: Players wanna play infront of full stands, coaches wanna play in front of full stands, students want the best experience.

Want to win everygame, Goals every year to be undefeated.
Plans to engage student groups to get them engaged.

We need to do our part to continue to build, win, improve the standings.


WMBD: What is 1st priority?
CF: Looking forward to this since Friday. Glad the search is over. Has tried to speak with all the recruits. Got in touch with some.
Wants 1 on 1 with all the players
Fill out the staff. Situation at KSU, to get his assoc hc who is the top candidate there, but would like him here

Overall impression, I think he's very likable. You could see his attempts at humor, which I like that he doesn't take things too seriously. You can tell he understands college basketball. Most of his answers centered around winning, and how that inturn will make everything better. I hope that the recruits and team see that and are willing to build around him.

Very much appreciate that, BUBalum! My meeting actually got cut short, so I was able to tune in for 10 minutes. You hit on about everything that was key.
 
The longer this information sinks in the more I like Ford as the new head coach. He's relatively young, has head coaching experience, and he's even experienced a bit of success in the MAC.

I hope he can keep DSE in the fold.
