Anthony "Noopy" Crater who is rated as one of the top 2 or 3 point guards in the class of 2008 has verballed to Ohio State. Illinois was very interested in him, and had offered.

Hard to understand why these kids keep committing to Ohio State where there will be a backlog of talented players to compete with. But it seems like the trendy thing to do.

It's becasue these kids know the players ahead of them are all NBA talent and will be gone in a year.

Prediction-Ohio State,
another Big Ten imposter will be exposed tonight when Ohio State plays UNC.
Gonzaga proved that UNC is mortal, but UNC will prove Ohio State is overrated.
Sure they're good, but nothing yet has actually tested them.
They have played 6 straight home games against pretty weak opponents, and they beat loyola by 12 but Loyola has struggled early this season barely beating IUPUI.
