1 MVC game tonight

The only MVC team in action tonight is Drake (5-2).
They are at home tonight at 7:05pm CST against the UC-Irvine Anteaters (3-5). UC-Irvine is in the Big West Conference and has an RPI of 135.

Drake got a little boost in attendance last night with a special promotion.

All game tickets were only $1.

but they still only drew 4,855, barely more than their average and only 35 more than their previous game!
I guess they can't give 'em away!!

I'd like to know who's in charge of counting attendance at Drake games. I know that the figures you mention are the "official" attendance figures....but there were probably about 2000 more people there last night than at the previous game. To be honest, I think they overcounted one game, and undercounted the other. I'm guessing there were 5500 there last night, probably between 3500-4000 the previous game.
 
A couple games of interest Wednesday-

DePaul clobbered Wake Forest 78-63.
DePaul played extremely well and lead most of the game by more than 20 points.

Iowa State trailed Savannah State for much of the game, but then pulled away late to win 70-59. Iowa State's next game is Saturday against Bradley.
