Coach Stowell impressed

You can tell this year that Coach Stowell is just so proud of how this team plays. I've been listening for about 21 years now and I have never heard Coach Stowell talk like this. I really believe he thinks this team plays ball the right way. That makes me respect Coach Les all the more...

I've noticed that about Coach Stowell also. My favorite part about Coach Stowell is the comments he makes when they're at breaks. If you get the BravesTV package, he says the funniest things. The game with the Village People puppet show at halftime he was killing me. Tonight when the kid was shooting for the pizza and couldn't hit the broadside of the barn, he said, "They should make him buy that pizza". LMAO.

Hey Mike Cash ole 41 one of my favorites during the Hawk era, but why oh why did he/you leave during your senior year? Mike could have been someone.. a hero :)

Good win by BU tonight.

I was pretty little back then, but I do remember my dad telling me that Cash quit right before senior night. Is that the case?

I know he quit during his senior year, he barely ever played but he had great seats for some of Hawks best games. Interesting though you picked maybe one of the most obscure players in BU history for your screename and a picture to boot.

Yes, but he's very pretty

This Journal Star article by Kirk Wessler is as fine of an article as I have read.
He goes into detail on Coach Stowell and his continued involvement with BU basketball and gives us a great insight to a man that always will be revered on the hilltop.
Joe has given much of the last 60 years of his life to Bradley basketball, and thanks to KW for such a nice story about him.
