Egolf is certainly skinny. Give him some Big Macs and a weight training program!

possible redshirt??

No eff'n way he redshirts. That would leave SS and Thompson as the only players over 6'8. IMO, that frontline would be worst than this years. Will must play next year...

Unless we get a JUCO big, then either Thompson or Egolf can reshirt. I would be ok with 1 good JUCO big, Matt Salley and one of the freshman in the front court if we are going to keep running the 4 guard O. Our rebound situtation will vastly improve with bigger guards IMO.

Can you name the last Bradley recruit that redshirted in his first year, not including injury/qualifier "redshirts".
I am curious why we are even talking redshirts on guys like Maniscalco, Thompson, Egolf, etc.
I will concede it is at least a remote possibility if anyone can name the last time it hapened at Bradley.

Sorry, I should have clarified.
I am aware that Jassey was granted a redshirt, but I meant a kid who came in and was announced BEFORE the season started as being a redshirt.

Jassey still was a rostered player from the beginning and dressed for every game, and I believe had full hope of playing last year.
It didn't happen, so that Jassey somewhat gained the redshirt "after the fact".

So to rephrase, name the last time an incoming freshman recruit was redshirted from the time he came onto campus?

Jassey was a medical redshirt.

Any kid can redshirt without medical reasons if he announces it before the season starts, and does not play in any games.

Juneau Douglas played their 2nd game Thursday, and won again by a big margin, 71-31 over Porter Creek from Whitehorse, Yukon Territories in the Capital City Classic (played at Juneau Douglas high school in Juneau).

This article says the game was Wednesday, but it was actually Thursday, 12/28--
http://juneauempire.com/stories/122906/spo_20061229032.shtml

Will Egolf had just 10 points in the blowout win. Their next game is Saturday night.
