Other MVC action Wednesday 1/10/07

Tonight's lines:

SIU -1 1/2 at Bradley
Wichita St -4 at Indy St

Other games of interest:

Pitt -1 1/2 at Depaul
Loyola -2 at Wright St
S Miss +9 at SMU
Illinois -9 vs Iowa
Syracuse -7 at Rutgers
Butler -5 1/2 at UIC
Mich St -14 vs NW'rn
Iowa St -1 vs Nebraska

DePaul-Pitt should be an exciting game.

Two overrated backcourts. DePaul's success has been since the re-instatement of 7'1" Keith Butler. Aaron Gray could be exposed again tonight.

Pound DePaul. They're going to take an overrated Pitt team behind the woodshed.

Our opponents did OK by Bradley tonight. DePaul, continuing one of the flakiest seasons in college basketball this year, falls quietly at home to a good, but not great Pittsburgh team. The 59-49 loss is the first at home for the Blue Demons.
Wright State humiliates Loyola in Dayton, 81-55.
Southern Mississippi squandered an 18 point halftime lead in Dallas and trailed SMU by 1 before rallying for a 57-56 win.
UIC took down mighty Butler in overtime, 73-67 after the Flames blew a double digit lead in the second half.
Michigan State whomped Northwestern 66-45.
Iowa State beat Nebraska with a strong 2nd half, 71-62.
Syracuse leads Rutgers by 11 with 3:00 to go.
Illinois held off Iowa for its first Big 10 win of the season, 74-70.
