2026 Portal transfers

I think if we can keep JJ, DR, and Timo that will be a solid core for next season. DR clearly needs more PT but was very smooth with the ball in his hand and is very long and athletic as well. Timo has a ton of potential

Here is an interesting one I just saw-
UT Martin's Matas Deniunas will transfer- he is a 6'9" freshman from Lithuania who averaged 12.5 ppg and 5.2 rpg this season. He was the OVC Freshman of the Week eleven times this season.
He had one of his best games in UT-Martin's win at Bradley, scoring 20 points on just 7 shot attempts- 5-7 FG%, and 3-4 from three (box score)

the other top player on UT-Martin in transferring, Andrija Bukumirović, 14ppg, 8rpg. & had 20pts & 6reb in their win over Bradley on Nov 12

why do they say "In his first season in Carbondale, he shot 38% from 3"

when we all know he's been there two years and this season he shot a big volume of attempts at only 29.9% and only 29.0% in MVC play

Valparaiso's Shon Tupuola is entering the transfer portal - LINK
He started all 33 games, averaing 6.4 ppg, 5.8 rpg (7h in MVC) - hitting 58% of his shots (would be 5th on MVC but not enough FG attempts to qualify)
 
Murray State's Tristian Ford is entering the portal

He was recruited and offered by Bradley - played at Rockford Boylan HS and also Chicago Prep Academy
he redshirted his freshman year at Murray State and has four years of eligibility -
..maybe he sees the chance for lots more playing time at BU?
