Another of Bradley's 2007 recruits played tonight. Anthony Thompson and Houston Klein Forest high school beat district rival Westfield 50-48. Anthony Thompson had 10 points.--

I was at Anthony's game last night. He actually scored 8 of his team's first 12 points. He had a number of blocks and he even showed a little hook from about 4-5 feet (it missed). He shot with either hand and ran the floor really well. After getting him the ball early Klein Forest seemed to forget about him. When he goes to the boards he seems to find himself too far under the basket much too often. He even took a 3 point shot-not sure I want my 6-10 center that far out on the floor but he can shoot and is very mobile.

They have another kid Alonzo Edwards who is headed to Nebraska (he hit the game winning shot) and once he gets the ball there is about an 80% chance he will shoot it. I think that limits Anthony's touches.

As I've said before I think Anthony will do well for us-he just needs to add some strength.

Has he gained any weight?
